This World: Surviving Sandy Hook (BBC Two, 9pm)
This documentary follows three families whose lives were dramatically altered following the tragic shootings at Sandy Hook Elementary School. The programme examines how the town and those affected have moved on in the aftermath of the horrific shootings and takes a look at America’s relationship with guns. Promises to be powerful.
Everyone’s talking about… James Corden’s new late night show

The British actor takes over as host of The Late Late Show on CBS later this month and is featured on the cover of Variety this week.
Corden, who is virtually unknown in the USA, concedes that taking on the job is a “bold choice” and stated that he had never even been on an American talk show when he landed the gig.
As for how the show is going to turn out? Well, it’s not going to be snarky.
The hardest struggle is trying to convince people that this is a place where no-one is ever going to be the butt of the joke. All we want is our guests to shine, because if the guests shine, the show shines. If the show shines, then I shine.
