The Great Comic Relief Bake Off (BBC One, 8pm)
The final episode of what may be the most unabashedly enjoyable show ever airs tongiht. This week, Victoria Wood, Alexa Chung, Chris Moyles and Kayvan Novak are among the celebrities cooking up mischief in the kitchen. Chung has admitted to not using an oven in three years, so it ought to be entertaining as ever. #GBBOComicRelief
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (RTE One, 9.35pm)
This adaptation of the addictive Scandi novels stars Rooney Mara as the iconic Lisbeth Salander, as she pairs up with a journalist to solve a forty-year-old crime. Not for the faint of heart.
This World: Surviving Sandy Hook (BBC Two, 9pm)
This documentary follows three families whose lives were dramatically altered following the tragic shootings at Sandy Hook Elementary School. The programme examines how the town and those affected have moved on in the aftermath of the horrific shootings and takes a look at America’s relationship with guns. Promises to be powerful.
Everyone’s talking about… James Corden’s new late night show

The British actor takes over as host of The Late Late Show on CBS later this month and is featured on the cover of Variety this week.
Corden, who is virtually unknown in the USA, concedes that taking on the job is a “bold choice” and stated that he had never even been on an American talk show when he landed the gig.
As for how the show is going to turn out? Well, it’s not going to be snarky.
